Privacy Policy
1. Scope and operator
KenoSysLab (케노시스랩) handles TubeType member information separately from public-video material requested by users, as described below. This policy applies to member services, AI connections and the public website. Personal audio files uploaded through the TubeType website or supported connected AI services are also covered by the separate personal audio processing notice.
2. Member information
| Information handled | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Account identifiers, authentication information such as email, and connection status | Sign-in, connecting your account and checking access |
| Request identifiers, processing status, usage and allowance records | Processing requests, checking limits and preventing duplicate deductions |
| Support inquiries, problem reports and a reply address | Customer support and privacy requests |
We do not sell member information or provide it externally for advertising. Do not enter passwords, verification codes, identity documents or unrelated information in AI conversations or support messages.
3. Public-video material
We use the requested video's address, language, captions and timing information, and audio or transcription results you explicitly request or consent to, as material needed to explain the content and answer questions. Member information and public-video content are handled separately.
When you authorize a TubeType connection and make a request in an AI service, the necessary video material and processing results are sent to that chosen AI service. Its policies and your settings govern how it retains, uses and deletes conversations.
If you request or consent to audio transcription, video audio and transcription results are processed through an external computing service. TubeType member email addresses and sign-in passwords are not sent as audio-transcription inputs. To avoid audio processing, request captions only or decline the transcription option.
Public videos can contain information identifying people. You must have the necessary rights to use material and keep use within what your request requires.
4. External services and processing locations
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for member authentication and service-data storage and Gabia (Hiworks) for support email. These services process the authentication, account or inquiry information needed for those tasks, with use limited to the relevant purpose. Operating servers and member authentication storage are in South Korea. If you choose an external account sign-in method, that authentication service's policies also apply.
External audio processing of public videos can take place outside South Korea. The default routing and storage location is the United States; computing is not pinned to one country and may be assigned to available global locations, including the United States. External audio-processing inputs and outputs are retained for up to seven days; operating logs under the current service conditions are retained for one day. This does not guarantee immediate deletion of every external copy.
Your chosen AI service's policies, agreement and settings govern its processing locations and retention. Disconnecting does not itself delete conversations already sent to that service; request deletion there as needed.
5. Retention and disposal
| Category | Retention or cleanup criterion |
|---|---|
| Public-video caption and transcription caches | 72 hours after the last successful analysis request. Ordinary reads do not extend expiry. |
| References for retrieving completed work | Normally one hour |
| Incomplete processing records and service-managed operating logs | Cleaned up on a seven-day basis |
| Usage accounting records | Cleaned up on a 93-day basis. Records needed for valid access or active requests remain until the relevant purpose ends. |
| Plugin problem reports | Seven days by default |
| Account and authentication-connection information | Retained as needed for the account and access management; unnecessary information is removed following a verified deletion request. |
| Email inquiries and privacy-request records | Retained while needed to respond and handle the request; unnecessary information is removed without undue delay once that purpose ends. |
| Recovery backups | Kept separately with access restricted to recovery needs. Copies no longer needed for recovery or following a deletion request are removed; completed deletion requests are reapplied when restoring data. |
Information no longer needed because its retention period or processing purpose has ended is subject to deletion or other disposal procedures. If the law requires separate retention, we explain the item, legal basis and period and manage it separately. Copies retained by external services are subject to their own retention and deletion conditions.
Service-managed operating records and external infrastructure records may be retained differently. The service's own seven-day criterion is not a promise that all externally retained records are deleted within seven days.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You can request account closure through the signed-in website. For access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent or account-deletion assistance, contact support@tubetype.com. We explain a minimal way to verify account ownership and reply with the result or any reason for a restriction. We do not ask for passwords, verification codes or identity-document copies through ordinary email.
Account-deletion handling includes verifying ownership, stopping account access, checking active work and retention obligations, and removing unnecessary information. Where an item must be kept separately, we explain why and for how long. Disconnecting in an AI service and deleting your TubeType account are separate actions.
The privacy and rights-request contact is representative Sangbin Park, at support@tubetype.com.
7. Protection and policy changes
We apply authentication and access checks, encryption in transit and data-cleanup procedures. Internal captions and audio material are not posted on the public website. The public information website does not use external advertising or behavioral-analytics tracking scripts.
When this policy changes, the website will explain the changes and their effective date. Changes requiring new consent follow the relevant consent process.
